Job Summary:
The Accounts Receivable Administrator is responsible for various tasks including releasing sales documents blocked for billing, processing credit memos, balancing incoming payments, prepare billing documents and processing payment returns for select customers, as well as supporting members of the AR team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review, communicate issues, and release Sales Documents Blocked for Billing
- Handle return payments
- Enter credit memos for various customers
- Prepare and forward billing documents for select customers
- Obtaining customer remittance detail for cash application purposes
- Bank balancing and documentation handling
- Retrieve EDI documents needed for cash application
- Assist the AR Department with other administrative duties as needed
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or the equivalent required
- 1-2 years’ experience in an administrative role
- Strong computer skills with experience in MS outlook, Word and Excel
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail is critical
- Ability to effectively prioritize activities
- Must be able to work in a fast paced, high-volume environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
- Exhibits ability to learn and apply new skills
For candidates based in Massachusetts, this hourly, non-exempt position starts at $43k up to $47.5k.
