Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Canva and online skills (social media, website) required.
- Strong analytical ability to contribute to policy development, resolve complex management situations, and assess volunteer needs and client service quality.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills for engaging with professional, medical, church, and social service agencies/organizations, as well as volunteers, clients, and donors.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills to connect with clients and influence the community positively.
- Commitment to serving clients and other constituencies of Hope Restored in a manner that reflects Jesus Christ's values and supports the organization's life-affirming ministry.

Responsibilities:
Executive Director General Summary and Objectives:
The Development Coordinator will assist the Executive Director in organizing and overseeing community outreach, marketing/media, fundraising/event planning, public relations, and resource development programs. Additionally, they will provide advanced administrative support and ensure the highest quality of client services/programs consistent with Hope Restored's mission and vision.
Outreach, Marketing, and Public Relations:
Approximately 70% of the employee's time will involve:
- Representing the center in the community and fostering cooperation between agencies and organizations.
- Planning and conducting meetings and events to support and encourage volunteers.
- Increasing community awareness and collaboration to meet the unique needs of clients.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with church contacts, pro-life organizations, and community groups.
- Creating and implementing outreach plans to engage high school students, community colleges, universities, and churches.
- Assisting with marketing and public relations initiatives to raise awareness and attract partners, donors, and resources.
Administrative, Fundraising, and Resource Development:
Approximately 30% of the employee's time will involve:
- Coordinating logistics, research, reporting, and recordkeeping.
- Compiling reports and handling database management.
- Managing donor communications and mailings as well as assisting with newsletters.
- Initiating calls to build relationships and resolve issues.
- Assisting with organizing events and fundraising initiatives.
- Monitoring grants and seeking new funding opportunities.
- Reporting on the effectiveness of marketing and development programs.
- Building donor relationships
Supervision/Direction:
Once proficiency is established, the Development Coordinator will work independently with supervision available as needed. They will demonstrate commitment to Hope Restored's mission, vision, and values, fostering teamwork and servant leadership.
Additional Information:
- The role may involve meetings, an annual conference requiring overnight stay, and occasional after-hour or weekend outreach events.
- Office Hours are Monday-Thursday 9am-3pm

Pay: $25,000.00 - $30,000.00 per year
