HORIBA is seeking an experienced Field Service Representative primarily in Knoxville, TN and surrounding Territory. Our Field Service Representative travels to customer locations and provides on-site service, maintenance and training of HORIBA Medical instrumentation. The right candidate will be able to perform the following essential job functions and has the listed qualifications:
Essential Job Functions:
- Travels to customer sites to install, repair or perform PM on medical laboratory equipment.
- Conducts troubleshooting via phone and onsite visits.
- May periodically assist in training other technicians on specific equipment.
- Installs laboratory equipment and trains lab staff. Performs regularly scheduled PMs onsite. Tests and calibrates analyzers and other equipment used in quality control.
- Able to prepare service reports, weekly logs and expense reports.
- Keeps management informed of service results, customer relationship issues, and updates in customer laboratory policies or practices / topics which may be helpful to operations.
- Provides quality customer service and promotes MLS benefits and/or additional services.
- Monitors, organizes, and maintains inventory on parts and consumables for car stock.
Desired Qualifications:
- AA Degree or certification from a technical school.
- Preferred 3 years experience working with hematology, relevant analyzer equipment or medical instrumentation with two years of electronics experience. Heavy Chemistry experience preferred.
- Medical Technologist (MT) a plus.
- Some Training experience preferred.
- MS Office application and general computer skills preferred.

Salary : $53,600 - $67,900
