Position: Manhattan WMOS Consultant

Job Description: -
- Provide overall support of a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for one or more sites.
- Request/test/implement changes to WMS applications that will support and improve the processes at the client’s warehouses.
- Provide functional configuration and testing within the WMS application.
- Instruct users in the proper and efficient usage of the system(s) and notify/train users when hardware and/or software changes occur.
- Troubleshoot hardware and/or software applications malfunctions and errors, as well as user problems, resolving them or escalating as necessary.
- Interfaces with internal and external technical staff to define application solutions.
- Provide local systems knowledge and support to business stakeholders.
- Prepare written materials that document activities, events, systems, and architecture of WMS Systems.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of Labor Management.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of Manhattan TLM.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Intermediate level of proficiency in the use of Windows operating systems.
- Working knowledge and basic proficiency with SQL is required.
- Experience to include WMS configuration and support in a distribution center environment with familiarity of RF systems and equipment.
- Basic level of proficiency in script writing shell is desired.
- WMS Support experience highly desired.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time and ability to operate a computer keyboard.
- Detailed understanding of logistics processes and techniques.
- Possess basic knowledge of PC and Server hardware.
- Possess basic knowledge of WAN/LAN/WLAN technologies.
- PC proficiency to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Possess excellent organization, communication, and presentation skills.
- Be flexible, self-motivated, proactive and results oriented.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical users.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple requests to ensure timely response to the users.
