HR Manager/Office Manager

Salary Range: $30 - $35 - per hour based on a 40 hour work week & DOE.

Full Time, M-F position

Current position holder will train and support during transition

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, knowledgeable, detail orientated Human Resources Manager able to form trust-based relationships with employees and staff at all levels. HR function is supported by Associated Industries, a respected employer advisor providing legal and practical HR support.

Human Resources duties include, but are not limited to:

1. Manages health and welfare benefits to include enrollments, terminations, status changes, document processing, record keeping, proper payroll deductions and employee communications.

2. Workers’ compensation administration, and member of the Safety Committee

3. Manages annual open enrollments for all staff through Employee Navigator.

4. Administers the Affordable Care Act yearly.

5. Administers various human resources policies and procedures for all company personnel with support from outsourced HR consultants.

6. Works directly with the management team to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on personnel matters.

7. Responds to employee relations issues such as employee counseling, employee complaints and harassment allegations.

8. Monitors performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.

9. Maintains personnel files and Human Resource information.

10. Coordinates and/or conducts exit interviews and retrieves equipment, keys etc.

11. Ability to maintain confidentiality of information per HIPPA rules and regulations.

12. Manages FMLA and L&I claims with our outsourced HR company.

13. Participates actively in weekly Department Head Meeting

Office Manager duties include, but are not limited to:

1. Handling or coordinating all staff appreciation duties which include team events, holiday parties, and other company events.

2. Assisting with payroll as needed

3. Entering deposits into QuickBooks

4. Sorting mail daily

5. Managing office business staff, handling schedule requests, and assisting with phones

7. Produce monthly financial for multiple departments reports.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Spokane, WA (99218): Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • QuickBooks: 2 years (Required)
  • Payroll: 2 years (Required)
  • Leadership Experience 2 years (Required)
  • HR management: 2 years (Required)

Work Location: In person.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
