RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Trains, coaches, and supports internal plant locations on implementation of the Hormel Production System.
- Audits and evaluates plant progress on the HPS Maturity Model and provides specific feedback to improve compliance and performance.
- Coaches, educates, and certifies team members on Lean Six Sigma and Focused Improvement tools and methodologies.
- Supports the plants in effective application of the Maintenance Work Process, Autonomous Maintenance, and the Maintenance Management Operating System.
- Mentors and advises problem-solving teams throughout the organization in the utilization of improvement tools, methods, data collection and statistics.
- Actively participates in the annual Best-of-the-Best process to recognize enterprise process improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
- A passion for continuous improvement.
- Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time to support plant implementations of the Hormel Production System.
- A bachelor's degree or significant industry experience.
- A pattern of initiative and leadership.
- Proven problem-solving, decision making and project management skills.
- Strong analytical and time management skills.
- Highly developed interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to lead multiple teams on a variety of complex projects.
- A track record of successfully executing Continuous Improvement Tools such as DMAIC, Lean, Kaizen, and 5 Why.
- Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States

Preferred
- Six Sigma Orange, Green, or Black Belt Certification (certification status will factor into the career level awarded)
