What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Analyst position at Hospice?
Empath Health is currently seeking a Data Analyst I to join our team.
The Data Analyst I:
- The Data Analyst I is a resource to the Data Analyst II to assist in providing management tools and statistics to the managers of Empath and its affiliates.
- Responsible for collecting, aggregating, and analyzing data from clinical and accounting databases for use in functional management and decision making.
Position Requirements
- Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3 years of SQL experience (MS SQL Server).
- 3 years of reporting tool experience (for example SSRS, Tableau).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Python Scripting a plus.
- Experience in Tableau a plus.
- Experience in Healthcare a plus.
- General understanding of accounting concepts including general ledger and payroll processing.
- Able to work with minimum supervision and exercise a high degree of discretion and independent judgment.
- Possess strong business acumen with analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to prioritize multiple job responsibilities and exercise critical thinking skills.
- Ability to interface with Senior Leadership and other staff.
