What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Manager position at Hospitality HQ?
Marble City Market, a new and exciting culinary driven food hall that opened in Regas Square last fall, is currently recruiting for our next General Manager.
We are looking for a strong leader who manages and leads by example. The General Manager works closely with the executive leadership of Hospitality HQ. This role oversees the day to day operations of the food hall, development of all HHQ team members, vendor management, and serves as the primary contact between HHQ and our development partners.
Roles and Responsibilities include:
- Manage daily operations of the food hall, ensuring the highest level of hospitality
- Oversee the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the operation
- Develop and train all team member
- Cultivate a professional, positive and inclusive culture
- Create weekly management and team schedules on a weekly basis best suited to employee strengths and weaknesses
- Execute marketing and promotional initiatives that drive sales
- Meet regularly with HHQ leadership and serve as the main point of contact with our vendor partners
- Accountable for the financial success of the business by overseeing all aspects of the P&L
- Ensure systems and processes are in place and executed correctly by team and vendor partners
- Supervise cash management at the food hall
Required Skills
- College degree in hospitality management is desirable
- Minimum 5 years management experience, preferably in high volume hospitality operations
- Strong Financial Acumen
- Proficient in restaurant point of sale systems
- Ability to adapt in fast-paced environment
- Entrepreneurial spirit
- POS knowledge, particularly with Square and Toast POS
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
