House of Hope, established in 1953, specializes in the treatment of substance use disorders and family reunification for women and children (ages birth to eight) and is seeking a reliable, dynamic part-time RECOVERY ASSISTANT for our SALT LAKE CITY campuses for OVERNIGHT SHIFTS.

Qualifications:
- Open to FEMALE applicants only due to the nature of licensing regulations and job duties
- Must be willing to drive own vehicle (with mileage reimbursement) or agency vans, have a current Utah driver’s license and a good driving record
- Must understand professional ethics and boundaries in the human service field
- Must be able to attend a mandatory staff meeting and training the 2nd & 4th Monday of each month from 2-4 pm, no exceptions
- Must have basic computer skills and writing ability
- Must have good communication and phone skills
- Must have above-average problem-solving skills, conflict-resolution abilities, and above all, a sense of humor!
Agency Requirements:
- This is a non-smoking work site
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must be able to pass extensive background check
- Must be able to pass a drug screening (with results based on Federal laws regarding illegal substances)
- If in recovery, must have at least two years of continuous sobriety
- Must be vaccinated against COVID-19 and be willing to be seasonally vaccinated against the flu (a TB vaccination may also be necessary)
- Must have personal reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Hours & Schedule:
Part-time. The hours for this position refer to our overnight shifts, which is from 10:30p to 8:30am, each day of the week. A move to fulltime hours of 36 hours per week may be available at the employee's request and management approval following training.
Wages & Benefits:
- $14/hour for this shift ($13/hour for daytime shifts)
- Raise after six months of employment
- 401(k) dollar for dollar match up to 5% after one year with vesting schedule
- Employee recognition and other incentives are available
