Recovery Assistant (OVERNIGHTS) - Salt Lake City

House of Hope, established in 1953, specializes in the treatment of substance use disorders and family reunification for women and children (ages birth to eight) and is seeking a reliable, dynamic part-time RECOVERY ASSISTANT for our SALT LAKE CITY campuses for OVERNIGHT SHIFTS.

Qualifications:

• Open to FEMALE applicants only due to the nature of licensing regulations and job duties
• Must be willing to drive own vehicle (with mileage reimbursement) or agency vans, have a current Utah driver’s license and a good driving record
• Must understand professional ethics and boundaries in the human service field
• Must be able to attend a mandatory staff meeting and training the 2nd & 4th Monday of each month from 2-4 pm, no exceptions
• Must have basic computer skills and writing ability
• Must have good communication and phone skills
• Must have above-average problem-solving skills, conflict-resolution abilities, and above all, a sense of humor!

Agency Requirements:

• This is a non-smoking work site
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must be able to pass extensive background check
• Must be able to pass a drug screening (with results based on Federal laws regarding illegal substances)
• If in recovery, must have at least two years of continuous sobriety
• Must be vaccinated against COVID-19 and be willing to be seasonally vaccinated against the flu (a TB vaccination may also be necessary)
• Must have personal reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

Hours & Schedule:

Part-time. The hours for this position refer to our overnight shifts, which is from 10:30p to 8:30am, each day of the week. A move to fulltime hours of 36 hours per week may be available at the employee's request and management approval following training.

Wages & Benefits:

• $14/hour for this shift ($13/hour for daytime shifts)
• Raise after six months of employment
• 401(k) dollar for dollar match up to 5% after one year with vesting schedule
• Employee recognition and other incentives are available
