At Houston Methodist the Patient ObservationTech position is responsible for demonstrating basic knowledge andskills necessary to communicate appropriately and providecontinuous electronic observation and surveillance of assignedagespecific diverse patient population assisting in the delivery ofpatient care and services.
This position verbally redirects thepatient from engaging in atrisk behaviors and summoning nursingstaff when patient requires assistance and reports observations andpatient problems to the licensed nurse.

- Delivers AvaSysMobile Carts to patient rooms sets up the unit and assists withtesting of the units position camera and audiospeaker.
