Houston's is currently hiring for a Part-Time Merchandiser to service our territory. Position Summary:
Responsible for product merchandising within wholesale food service account. This includes stocking shelves, rotating shelved products, setting up displays, moving products from storage to the sales floor, and assisting customers.

Essential Functions:
- Maintain product on store shelves by ensuring appropriate inventory levels and proper product rotation
- Transport product from backroom to display floor with manual equipment such as pallet jack or flat cart
- Audit packing list, report discrepancies and return damaged or defective products
- Build and maintain promotional displays
- Use hand held devices to input/submit orders
- Service accounts during designated times established by management
- Provide exceptional customer service and work closely with personnel
- Responsible for appearance and cleanliness of accounts
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- 18 years or older
- Valid government-issued identification
- Maintain a clean and neat appearance
- Regular, reliable, predictable attendance
- Ability to operate under minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a non-THC drug tests, and acceptable background check.
Schedule:
Friday - Sunday: Off
Monday: 8 am, 4 hours
Tuesday: Off
Wednesday: 8 am, 4 hours
Thursday: 8 am, 8 hours
Compensation:
- $22 per hour plus mileage reimbursment

Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Lifting, loading, pushing and pulling products weighing upwards of 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds
- Climbing stairs or ladders, as well as walking, squatting, kneeling, bending or reaching while merchandising and moving products
- Be exposed to loud noise and machinery, plus able to judge distances and read signs; therefore, hearing and vision are required
- Be exposed to cold or heat while performing job duties

Travel:
Required daily (personal vehicle) to access store locations within assigned shift, including mileage reimbursement to and from store location. Must have valid driver’s license, plus insurance current at all times on your vehicle(s)
