PROJECT SPECIFIC - one to two months of work

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Equipment Operator/Laborer to help clear downed timber. You must have experience operating a track skid loader and know how to maintain the equipment while operating it.

Duties:
- Moving stumps and root balls to pile for burning with a grapple/root rake attachment
- Filling in holes from pulling the stumps
- Operate a forestry mulching head

-Ensure equipment is properly maintained and report any malfunctions
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
- Listen to direction

Experience:
- Proven experience in operating a track loader and attachments
- Familiarity with safety operating a track loader and daily maintenance
- Ability to perform other laborer tasks on the site as needed
- Experience with Caterpillar equipment is preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Weekends as needed

Experience:

  • Track Loader operation: 2 years (Required)

Ability to Commute:

  • Eden, MD 21822 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Eden, MD 21822: Relocate before starting work (Required)
