HOYA VISION CARE, North America Job Description Job Title: Intern                                                    Department: Human Resources Reports To: Director, Talent Management & Organizational Effectiveness Location: Lewisville, TX Status: Non-exempt Duration: June 3 - August 2, 2024   Position Purpose:   The Hoya internship program is launching, and we have identified some great opportunities designed to help students or recent graduates gain hands-on experience in the field of Human Resources.  Over the course of nine weeks, you will experience a journey filled with practical experiences and immersive learning, through being a part of our team. As a Hoya Intern, you will be at the forefront of our operations working alongside our seasoned professionals working on projects while learning about our business operations and gaining valuable professional skills.  This is the inaugural year of our internship program, so you will also have the opportunity to collaborate with all interns on a special cross functional project as well.    Primary Responsibilities:   Assist supervisor with day-to-day tasks and projects. Conduct research and gather data for reports, presentations, or projects. Contribute creative ideas during brainstorming sessions.  Support team members in administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and scheduling. Collaborate with team members on ongoing projects and provide input. Manage confidential information and prepare reports, as required. Coordinate with external agencies, as necessary. The duties are not exhaustive and may expand at the request of your supervisor or another management team member.    Education and Qualifications:   Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program. Demonstrates strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team. Openness to learning and embracing new challenges. Displays a positive attitude and eagerness to contribute. Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
