GENERAL SUMMARY:
Assist in setting and maintaining HPI’s presence in retail locations. Stock merchandise, organize rotate and face products in HPI’s retail footprint. Electronically relay product requirements with HPI so merchandise is properly stocked. Perform other duties as necessary to maximize value for the consumer, maintain customer satisfaction, and enhance teamwork with our retail partners.

DUTIES and ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Retrieve boxed HPI merchandise local air cargo location (airport).
- Follow retail location work processes to receive, open and unpack cartons and totes; move items directly to sales floor.
- Maintain HPIs retail footprint by organizing, and then rotating and facing merchandise on shelves.
- Dust and clean and politely remove other vendors merchandise from HPIs retail footprint as required.
- Restock recovered merchandise.
- Maintain HPI inventory counts according to guidelines and monitoring inventory for accuracy.
- Order merchandise as directed to maintain appropriate stock levels of each line item.
- Bail cardboard and take out packing material in accordance with retail location processes.
- When asked, assist customers in locating HPI merchandise.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain HPIs positive relationship with the retailer and its associates.
- Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS:
- Regular and reliable schedule setting is an essential function of the job.

- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
WORK EXPERIENCE and/or EDUCATION:
- You must be 21 years of age or older to be employed for this role at HPI.
- Retail experience is preferred.
- Training will be provided at store level.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Flexible hours
- Frequent walking and standing
- Frequent bending, stooping, sitting and kneeling to organize, face, and stock merchandise.
- Frequent handling of merchandise, merchandise containers, dollies, and rolling carts.
- Frequent and proper lifting of 40-pound cargo boxes; occasional lifting of up to 55 pounds
- Occasional use of step stool to comfortably reach a height of seven feet.
- During store open hours there is a fast-paced environment, moderate noise level.
EXPECTED AVAILABILITY:
Your schedule is your own to manage. We require 2 visits to a retail location per week that can be completed without restriction as to the time of day or day of the week as long as the retail location is available. Your planned visit can be in coordination with your personnel needs but personnel needs and those working for HPI should be separated by time.
This job is for contract employment renewing weekly. This job summary is intended to be brief and should not be construed as complete in detail as to the contract duties or responsibilities. It is the intention of HPI that the contract will be automatically renewed unless terminated with notice by either party (the contract worker or HPI). Contract modification will be by a written agreement signed by both you and an authorized representative of HPI.
As the HPI associate assigned to the store, you’ll be responsible for organizing, merchandising, stocking HPI's products, and light cleaning to keep HPIs retail footprint looking its best. You will be required to work collaboratively with the retail locations team and processes to place the merchandise in the store. Ultimately, the goal is to enhance the customer shopping experience.
