What You'll Do:
As the Marketing Director, you will research, develop, direct, and execute a comprehensive internal and external business plan to build the brand, market share, and success of the organization.
Your Accountabilities in the Role:
- Researches, develops, directs, and executes a short- and long-term business and sales strategy to meet or exceed brand-identity goals, along with student participation, and gross profit margins.
- Establishes and networks with market alliances for key partnerships to build the brand and success of the organization.
- Leads, mentors, and coaches a sales and service-related team to continually grow the skillsets of the group, while driving participation and profit goals.
- Communicates and collaborates with the Leadership Team on the market trends and competitive landscape, providing a conceptual strategy for the annual business planning process.
- Leads and executes on Sales, Marketing, and Communications initiatives with the team to ensure business goals are understood, reviewed and carried out to meet annual business goals.
- Manages the comprehensive training and communication of value streams and other strategic action plans to ensure associated team members are prepared for implementation and rollout.
- Develops and maintains complete and up-to-date files on all activities, contracts, and contacts to drive business development opportunities.
Position Requirements:
- Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or similar field; will consider a combination of education and experience. An MBA would be a plus.
- Experience: 5 years of progressive experience in leading the sales, marketing, and customer service areas within a nonprofit or education industry preferred. Branding experience required.

- Functional Skills: Strategic thinker with the ability to research, develop, plan and execute on Sales and Marketing initiatives; excellent attention to detail, prioritization, analytical, and organizational skills; strong financial acumen to manage the departmental budget and execute on sales and branding forecasts, metrics, summations and detailed profitability information on an ongoing basis; proven expertise in analyzing the market and trends, taking appropriate actions to achieve participation numbers and profitability goals.
- Technology Aptitude/Skills: Proficient PC skills, MS Office experience.
- Language Skills: Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills; ability to present to groups and train others.
- Leadership/Behaviors: Self-motivated, with strong initiative who has a background of managing their work/results on their own; excellent collaboration and networking skills; demonstrates high customer-service, leadership, integrity and support; positive and optimistic; takes initiative and get things done; ability to develop, mentor, and coach others; ability to set parameters to ensure goals are met; continuous learner with the ability to reflect and make well thought out decisions; creativity to enhance solutions targeted towards business goals. Strong ability to negotiate and build relationships.

Salary: Salary is commensurate with proven expertise.

Reports To: Superintendent
Core Hours: Typically, 8 - 5 pm; hours vary based on projects and workload.
Typical Work Week: M-F; (Some weekends required when applicable); 45 - 50 hours a week on average
