Exciting Human Resource Gig! Our HR Consulting Division is seeking an HR Coordinator to deliver exceptional service to our client based in Syracuse, NY. This position requires 4-5 days of on-site support with flexible hours 5-6 hours per day (25 hours per week).
POSITION SUMMARY:
In this role, the Consultant will assists and implement a variety of HR initiatives and processes, including:
- Onboarding seasonal staff and college interns, greeting new hires, coordinating orientation logistics and helping new hires on their first day
- Updating status changes and pay changes in UKG system
- Updating benefits/pay information with carriers
- Sharing other HR Generalist duties with a team of HR staff members
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills
- Excellent organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
- Flexibility, adaptability and a readiness to jump in and contribute
- Strong analytical skills including the ability to research, analyze and make recommendations
- Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS experience required
- PHR/SHRM-CP Certification or other related certifications desired (i.e. CEBS, CCP)
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- At least two (2) years HR Coordinator or HR Generalist experience is required.
- Bachelor s Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field, or Associates Degree with commensurate experience required.
