Brief Description
a. Performing advanced administrative and technical support to the OD & Training Division for Organizational Development (OD), Quality Improvement (QI), Apprenticeship and other associated programs
b. Coordinating and tracking the OD & Training budget, reports, and expenditures throughout the fiscal year for all activities , facilities, and resources
c. Interacting with and assisting in providing service to internal and external customers within established guidelines while following the principles and goals of the OD/QI programs
Detailed Description
Job Requirements
1. Required
Must have a HS Diploma or GED
2. Desired
a) Associates degree in Business Administration or related field
b) Advanced Courses in software applications and business at the college level
b. Experience
1. Required
a) Three(3) to five (5) years of increasingly responsible administrative experience; to include three years of organizing, coordinating and prioritizing multiple projects and assignments and significant experience working with a diverse group of internal and external customers
b) Written and oral communication competencies
2. Desired
a) Familiarity with OD and QI programs
b) Familiarity with general employment law and administrative Human Resources practices and procedures
c. Job-Specific Technical Competencies
Required
a) Ability to develop highly effective working relationships with all HRSD employees
b) Significant experience using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
c) Proficient in organizing and maintaining voluminous records and working proactively with the public
d) Ability to draft original business correspondence
