Key Responsibilities:

Research and Innovation: Stay abreast of new technologies and propose their integration into the development of new and improved products, ensuring our solutions remain at the forefront of the industry.

Technical Communication: Maintain effective communication with suppliers, internal and external customers, and external resources regarding technical issues, fostering collaborative relationships and driving successful outcomes.

Engineering Standards: Enforce the proper use of engineering criteria and drawing standards, ensuring that technical issues are handled within the framework of company policies and procedures.

Design Evaluation: Evaluate designs for performance, safety, and reliability, employing your strong mechanical knowledge of vehicles and related systems.

Engineering Analysis: Conduct high-level, non-supervisory engineering analysis and design of new and modified components, supporting the selection of parts, components, and materials that meet project requirements.

Collaboration: Provide technical assistance for prototype, pilot, and production support, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results.

Issue Resolution: Analyze and resolve issues reported to Engineering through effective verbal and written communication, contributing to continuous improvement.

Leadership: Establish priorities for work delegated to others, providing clear direction to designers and drafters regarding engineering analysis.

Proposals and Reports: Prepare technical proposals, quotations, reports, and presentations, effectively conveying complex technical concepts.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's of Science in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, etc.), with a preference for mechanical engineering for this role.

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of related experience in precision weapon systems development, product design, or related fields.

• Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain a security clearance and be a US Citizen with a CAC Card, enabling access to classified projects.

Standout Qualifications:

• CAD Proficiency: Experience with a high-level CAD system, specifically CREO, to facilitate product design and development.

• Mechanical Knowledge: Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicles and related systems, with a basic understanding of weapon systems, controls, and ancillary systems for combat vehicles.

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal presentation and written communication skills to convey technical information effectively.

• Time Management: Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet project deadlines.

• Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
