About the role: This is a hands-on, full-time position with day-to-day responsibilities that include performing HR-related administrative duties while working closely with the HR Team, Columbine Leaders, and senior management. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: onboarding, recruiting, file management, administrative support, data entry, employee questions, policy maintenance, and employment law compliance updates.
What will you do:
Employee handbooks/policies:
- Provide administrative support in updating employee handbooks and policies.
- Assist with finalized job descriptions and posting to internal intranet "SharePoint".
- Assist with SharePoint website updating HR Document Library and content updated for department.
Orientation program:
- Responsible New Hire Employee Orientation (NEO), Manage communication for new hire onboarding general orientation day.
- Responsible for onboarding materials, updating HRIS and learning system for all new hires, management and approval of imported photos, scan and upload employee records in HRIS system including employee credentials and training items.
- Responsible for home office, administrators & IMS ticketing systems.
- Responsible for data input for all EEO and affirmative action items in HRIS for AAP.
HRIS:
- Processing applicable employee changes.
- Serves as a first point of contact for HRIS questionsProvide front-line support for employee self-service issues
- Provide maintance of HR internal ticketing system Assist HR generalist as back up to GO 1.
- Facilitate the engagement surveys, collect responses, provide data to HR Manager for analysis.
Events:
- Coordinating employer-sponsored events and meetings in coordination with marketing and other CHS leaders.
Customer service:
- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions (phone, email, in-person).
- Serve as a first point of contact ambassador for the HR Team.
- Provide administrative support for internal messaging board, YoDeck.
Recruitment:
- Assistwith recruitment, screening, walk-in on-line application assistance, and placing new hires as needed.
- Assist with reference checks, background checks, scheduling of interviews, and offer letters.
Compliance:
- Support HR team in applicable compliance requirements as it relates with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Completes I-9 Forms, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files with employee personnel files Responsible for scanning residual I-9 files and conducting ongoing audits.
- Compile and submit annual EEO and BLS reporting.
Administrative:
- Support office managers as needed regarding personnel administrative functions
- Responsible for photocoping mailers, scanning and emailingdocuments, filing, preparation of new-employee files, andperforms other clerical functions to support departmental needs.
- Serve as primary back up to manage companywide communication tools such as posters, tv monitors, restroom stalls bulletins, and SharePoint announcements.
Education, Experience, and Certifications that will help you be successful:
- A bachelor's degree in management or human resources is preferred.
- 2 years' experience as a human resources assistant or coordinator.
- aPHR or PHR or SHRM-CP or certification is desired.

Compensation and Benefits:
