What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Manager position at HRYMCA?
The Hampshire Regional YMCA is looking for an Office Manager for Camp Norwich! Our gorgeous outdoor day camp is situated in the woods right on Lake Norwich in Huntington, MA. This seasonal position would involve working on-site at Norwich while camp is operational from July-August, in addition to some pre- and post-camp work at our Y in Northampton. The job can be either full-time or part-time, but it is seasonal. The Y is dedicated to helping our community learn, grow, and thrive, regardless of age, income, or background. Job Duties:
- Provide customer service & guidance to camper parents via phone & email during the camp season
- Order and manage supplies for camp, including program supplies, food, and office supplies
- Run weekly reports with regard to camp, as well as creating camper rosters, as well as other administrative duties
- Maintain and organize camp details including health details, allergies, etc. to be communicated with camp leadership staff
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office, as well as comfort learning new computer software
- Customer service experience required
- Previous data management experience is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and diligent follow-up capabilities required
