Job description
An opportunity to join HSBC's Structured Product Sales Team focusing on the sale of Equity Linked Notes and CDs to a variety of Regional and Bank Broker Dealers and Registered Investment Advisors.
This individual will report to the Head of Structured Product Sales in New York and work closely EQD Trading Teams and EQD Structuring Teams to drive client and revenue expansion.
The right person for this role will have deep existing client relationships, knowledge of Structured Product Industry and products including QIS Strategies and strong technical skills.
For this role, the targeted fixed pay is $250,000.

Requirements

- Must have a bachelor's degree or higher and 8 years of experience in the financial services industry. Qualifying experience must include :
- Strong relationships with Regional and Bank Broker Dealers and Registered Investment Advisors
- Track record for growing structured product sales volumes at relevant distributors by identifying new product opportunities and client education
- Experience in selling Multi-Asset Class Structured Products including QIS Strategies.
- Experience in presenting to groups of Financial Advisors
- Candidates must be high energy, be motivated to take initiative and ownership of projects, and multitask in a fast-paced trading desk environment, ability to travel
- Knowledge of OTC transactions is a plus
- Strong knowledge of Bloomberg, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses are required for the role, but can be obtained after joining the team
