Job Requirements
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst provides applied behavior analysis consultation and evaluation to outpatient clients. Prepare and maintain records pertaining to client evaluation and treatment plans. Supervision of master level students when appropriate.
JOB FUNCTIONS
Essential job duties:
Administer assessments (e.g. VB MAPP)
Create and modify Individual Treatment Plans for each child on caseload as needed.
Document progress on goals on individual Plan of Care
Implement data collection, review and modify treatment according to data.
Create behavior plans as needed.
Instruct, motivate and assist patients to learn and improve functional activities.
Train behavior technicians on ABA and child’s program.
Directly observe treatments administered by behavior technicians.
Review technician’s documentation and data collection and provide feedback as need.
Complete consultation notes at each consultation and submit in EMR
Provide scheduled consultations face to face with patient and technician, review data, update program and model techniques for technician.
Lead behavior technician staff meetings/ trainings as needed.
Complete billing accordingly using authorized codes and submit in designated time frame.
Professional communication in person, through voicemail and email.
Maintains ongoing communication with parent regarding child’s progress and plan of care.
Prepare and conduct staff performance reviews with Therapy manager
Provide supervision to BCBA candidates as outlined in the BCBA Supervision Contract.
Oversee QBS Training program including assisting with training of all identified staff in the HSC system.
Adhere to The HSC System policies and guidelines.
Protect patient’s rights and privacy according to HIPPA regulations.
Adhere to Ethical Guidelines set forth by the BACB.
Provide a safe, clean environment for all patients and staff.
Other job duties:
Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Experience:
One (1) year of experience providing ABA services to children preferred. Supervisory experience. Ability to work in a variety of community settings
License/Certifications:
Certified with the Behavior Analysis Certification Board
Must complete supervision courses as outlined by the BACB.
Maryland services will require BCBA licensure
Required Education:
Minimum of a Master’s degree as outlined by the BACB
