Accounting Admin II Summary
The Accounting Admin II's primary responsibilities include entering invoices into JD Edwards, investigating invoice variances, continuous planning of processes and reports, and assisting in various accounting projects.
Accounting Admin II Responsibilities and Duties
- Receives and audits invoices for proper codings and approvals before entering into the accounts payable system for payment submission.
- Monitors trends in payment submissions to ensure Company is not duplicate paying or overpaying for goods and/or services.
- Researches, analyzes, and resolves issues. Works with vendors and internal locations to determine root cause of issues or holds. Suggests and develops solutions to prevent future issues.
- Assist with various projects and other duties as assigned
- Be a team player and help each other succeed and complete daily tasks
Accounting Admin II Education/Experience:
- Associates degree in accounting or related field
- 5 years in Accounts Payable or related accounting field experience
- JD Edwards
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to type and use a computer proficiently. Daily use of a computer and use of multiple computer applications is expected in this position (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe). Strong knowledge in Excel preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to multi-task, set priorities and work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
- Ability to understand and comply with company policies and federal/state laws.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to complete job duties with high a degree of accuracy

Duties are performed primarily at a desk in front of a computer within an office setting with low to moderate noise levels, and minimal adverse conditions. Work includes frequent clerical and administrative responsibilities and interaction with managers and other employees.
