Merchandiser

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Sets and tags merchandise in customer store(s)

· Markets product on store shelves with the aid of plan-o-grams

· Recommends and incorporates new product lines to store sets

· Authorizes and documents the return of un-saleable product for customer credit

· Assist, when necessary, in the delivery or pick-up of product

· Maintains the inventory of all merchandising supplies

· Communicates with team leaders and managers of store to work out the floor layout and display points, as well as how and what items are to be displayed

· Responsible for the presentation and replenishment of merchandise in assigned location(s)

· Ensures that merchandise is displayed, rotated and correct signage is present

· Monitors stock status and replenishing needs

· Ensures that floors and shelves are free of debris and trash

· Learn group plan-o-grams for proper merchandising in accounts

· All other duties and projects as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

· H.S. Diploma or GED; Associate degree preferred

· Minimum 1-2 years of Merchandising experience preferred

· Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

· Ability to work and communicate effectively with the customer face to face

· Ability to work in a team setting or with minimum supervision

· Ability to adapt quickly to frequent changes in schedule based upon customer needs

· Able to manage a flexible work schedule

· Possible overnight travel, depending on business needs

· Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00/hr.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift/potential 4-10 hr days.
• Monday to Friday
