Job Description
Work directly with development and IT team to design, build and management of multiple-server, network environment
Coordinate and plan placement of all hardware installed in the Data Centre
Responsible for the proper installation, upgrade and customization of undelivered servers.
Diagnose and provide solutions to networks, hardware issue
Perform and assist with disaster recovery operations as necessary
Produce appropriate operational documentations
Identify and implement improvements in existing processes and procedures.
Advise management of potential system enhancements in support of future requirements
Assist with the implementation, deployment and operation of information systems and technology solutions for business needs.
Create status reports as required; present findings to senior management
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in computer science, or relevant subject
Minimum of 5 years physical onsite Data Centre experience supporting the Data Centre equipment and/or infrastructure (Power, Space, Cooling, Equipment)
Excellent knowledge of hardware
Good Knowledge of IP Networking and routing protocol
Proficient in MS-Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Power Point
Excellent knowledge of storage solutions
Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Critical thinking and decision-making abilities
Attention to detail and problem solving skills
Good interpersonal skills for teamwork
