The Position
Vinci Construction USA is seeking a Group IT Support Manager position to help lead the Technology team in Winter Park, FL, reporting to the Group IT Director. In this role, you will have a proven track record of leading people, a solid understanding of hardware and software support and act as the primary point of contact for all USA locations.
Key Duties
- Managing and supporting the IT Support Staff and being a working manager to support end users.
- Supporting device management, PC/Laptop support and device setup/deployment.
- Help Desk ticket triaging and review
- Stat monitoring of Help Desk tickets and
- Manage a team of individuals to help drive efficiencies and add value to the company.
- Managing all IT assets and being responsible for managing procurement of assets, along with managing IT budgets.
- Administrating IT help desk ticket system.
- Knowledge and understanding of all relevant industry standards.
- Knowledge and understanding of best practices for service management.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to be influential and persuasive with stakeholders.
- Ensuring that all processes used by the service desk are thoroughly documented, consistently audited, and regularly improved.
- The ability to build a cohesive team and to manage people effectively. This includes the ability to coach and develop the team.
- A thorough understanding of the strategic vision for the service desk and the ability to set the long-term direction of the team.
- Mentor team and others to grow technical and business skills.
- Set team and individual goals, provide leader feedback during 1-1's and perform annual reviews.
- Assisting with Project Management when new systems and processes are implemented.
Education, Experience and Skills.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Support Leadership
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline
- Proven experience mentoring others
- Progressive, relevant responsibility throughout your career
- Excellent planning and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
- Ability to work 40 hours per week and flexible/extended hours when requested
