Division Overview
Hubbell Power Systems (HPS) engages in the design and manufacture of a wide variety of products used by utilities. Today, HPS is deeply engaged in product solutions for OSP Communication utility purposes, and has been actively growing that segment of the business. HPS roots have historically been in high voltage transmission, distribution, substation, underground products used by electric utilities. HPS products are also used in the civil construction, transportation, gas and water industries.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate machinery and equipment according to work instructions
- Troubleshoot issues and perform maintenance
- Perform quality control, and report to supervisor any irregularities in production quality and on equipment needing repair, maintenance, or adjustments problems
- Comply with all safety and health regulations
- Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in work area
- Any other duties as assigned
Skills and Experience
Qualifications for Machine Operator
- Previous machine operating experience is preferred
- Ability to perform basic tasks on PC or tablet
- Lift up to 35 pounds
- Operate a forklift (onsite training)
- Maintain a reliable attendance record
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work on a team
- Non-Climate Controlled environment
