Hudl is the industry standard when it comes to team performance platforms in the sports’ world. It powers athletes and coaches from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Liverpool Football Club to the University of Alabama to 99% of all high schools in the US. And yet, Hudl might be the biggest sports media property you have never heard of. Finding and creating magical moments and connecting them with athletes, parents, and fans across every community in the country is the passion of the Hudl media team, which includes Hudl Studios, Media Services, and Brand Partnerships.
We are looking for a Director, Brand Partnerships who is experienced and proven as a sales leader. The director is responsible for setting a multi-year roadmap, driving brand awareness and sales for the Media team. This role manages the Brand Partnerships team and grows strategic partnerships focusing on fortune 500 companies. They develop and sell high value media partnerships that include video, display and custom media assets.
You Are
- A focused people leader. Ideally, you have experience selling sport and/or digital media solutions and a proven track record of hiring and growing great talent in the space.
- Knowledgeable and curious. You have a deep understanding and lifelong curiosity of the digital media landscape. Experience with both creation and execution across traditional and customized brand solutions is preferred.
- Experienced. You’ve spent time in a media agency or digital sales role. You’ve sold advertising directly to national brands or executed large deals with agencies.
- Invested in Hudl Media’s growth. You know how to build a pipeline and are driven to hit your goals. You can negotiate at a high level and keep documentation of multiple deals statuses, while also bringing insights from the market back to the team.
You Will
- Grow the business. Our internal stakeholders will look to you for the revenue strategy as it relates to Brand Partnerships and Media. You will build a multi-year business strategy to hit aggressive revenue goals
- Work collaboratively. You will build relationships with the communications planning team, strategic planners and buyers to create successful media executions.
- Advocate for your team. Bring your concerns, competitive advantages, emerging competitors, and product feedback to the table as you are the voice of the Brand Partnerships team within the business unit.
- Represent Hudl. You interact with multiple external stakeholders daily to build and maintain relationships that will continue to drive the business. We’ll look to you to be a presence for Hudl at events and serve as a brand ambassador in NYC.
- Be remote, but not alone. Our lean team is distributed across NYC and Nebraska.
