This position involves teaching high school equivalency classes in the night program located in Hudson High School. The instructor should be capable of teaching all five HSE required content areas: Reading, Writing, Math, Science, and Social Studies, but this position is specifically SS and Writing.
In-person instruction is required but the ability to teach remotely through Zoom may also be necessary on snow days. Classes hours are from 6:00 9:00 PM (report to site at 5:30), on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Classes generally offered from September to June.DESE/ACLS Grant-Funded Teacher Pay Rate: $30.01 per hour of instruction plus 1:1 paid prep timeEssential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential functions or duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various type of work that may be performed.
