Registered Nurse (RN) - Weekend Positions!

Hudson Valley Hospice is seeking exceptional nurses for the weekends to join our growing RN teams. We are looking for RN weekend support in various areas, with our On Call team and Hospital/Inpatient Team! We are dedicated to making our patients' final days as comfortable and peaceful as possible. • Weekend Visit RN: 30 hrs per week - Part Time; Friday, Saturday and Sunday (Friday 2:30pm-12:30am, Saturday and Sunday 10:00am-6:00pm), Travel Required
• Visit Nurse - Hospital Inpatient: 24 hrs per week - Part-Time; Saturday, Sunday and Monday (8:30am-4:30pm), working within the hospitals throughout Ulster and Dutchess counties.

Requirements:

• NYS RN License
• Graduate from accredited nursing program
• Valid NYS Driver's License with reliable transportation
• At least 1-4 years of nursing in med/surg, oncology, ER, ICU or Critical Care preferred (Some positions require more RN experience)
• Understanding of the death/dying process and willingness to work with those at end-of-life in non-judgmental fashion.
• Ability to assess the needs of patients/families
