Recruiter
The Recruiter is responsible for the day-to-day management of Human-I-Ts full-cycle recruitment for all departments, advancing an average portfolio of 8-10 requisitions. Daily activities include sourcing applicants, reviewing resumes, conducting phone screens, scheduling hiring manager interviews, providing guidance and support to hiring managers, maintaining regular communication with candidates, answering questions about Human-I-T and the recruitment process, and sending offers of employment to successful candidates. The recruiter may also participate in new hire orientation and training to ensure a successful onboarding of employees. The recruiter is the primary point of contact for applicants internally and externally, and plays an important role in building a strong employer brand to ensure we attract, hire, and retain the most qualified employees. Your success will be measured by maintaining a high-quality service level, specifically a low time to fill rate and successful retention of new hires. You will use tools such as Paycom ATS, and listing websites such as Indeed, ZipRecruiter, and LinkedIn. The Recruiter position reports to the Senior HR Manager within the Human Resources (HR) team. This position is hybrid remote, with the ability to work from home and occasional mandatory attendance at Human-I-Ts Los Angeles warehouse located in Bell, CA.
Job Responsibilities / Duties:
- Source candidates from a variety of sources to facilitate applications for open vacancies
- Proactively communicate with candidates from the initial point of contact to the job offer phase, including sourcing, screening, and qualifying candidates utilizing an applicant tracking system
- Work in partnership with hiring managers to review current job descriptions for posting via internal and external sites, coordinating and conducting interviews for various positions
- Source and review candidates through Indeed, ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn, etc for all vacant positions
- Draft recruiting emails, conduct cold calls, phone screens, and structured interviews to assess candidate fit, credentials, and qualifications
- Advise hiring managers in proper and legal interviewing techniques for the states in which we operate
- Maintain key reports/metrics (including time to fill, source of hire, etc) to track recruitment progress
- Fine-tune the recruitment process with ideas and honest feedback
- Attend job fairs and host employment related functions
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs
Education:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related field preferred
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience with recruiting for various positions and levels of experience
- Proven work experience as an HR Recruiter or similar role
- Familiarity with various job interview formats, including phone screenings
- Experience recruiting for a variety of work environments, including warehouse, office, and remote is preferred
Skills:
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
- Previous experience using Paycom ATS is preferred
- Understanding of referral programs and workforce development partnerships
- Excellent verbal and written communication and relationship management skills
- Excellent presentation and organizational skills
- Must be able to multi-task in a high-volume environment
- Excellent sales skills
- Ability to lead projects to a successful conclusion balancing efficiency with quality
- Knowledge of Google Suite, HRIS and project management systems such as Asana preferred
- Able to make sound judgments and solve employee relation problems
- Able to adapt to changing situations quickly
- Must be self-motivated and able to work both independently and in a team
- Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach
Salary : $18 - $24
