Description
The Associate VP, Sales Enablement is a critical role to support Humana Employer Group's membership, revenue and profitability commitments.
The role will be responsible for conceptualizing and activating sales enablement functions to support the Humana Group Sales team, brokers and customers and strengthen Humana's commercial reputation.
Responsibilities
The AVP is responsible for building new sales enablement programs and enhancing solutions already in place. This position will work closely with partners within Group Sales, Underwriting, Actuary, Marketing, Communications, Product and Digital to strengthen the sales organization by enhancing the end-to-end Go-To-Market strategy, Sales methodology, processes, tools and measurements.
Develop an end-to-end, optimized Go-to-Market experience that will result in increased sales, stronger retention, a more effective / engaged sales organization and an enhanced reputation for Humana.
Evaluate, build and drive adoption of plans and processes to ensure optimal use of sales content, sales collateral and local market and shared service resources.
Lead and enhance the following shared services functions critical to execution of Go-to-Market strategies :
Sales coaching, training and development programs to upskill existing and new sales associates.
Internal and external sales communications.
Industry-leading proposal response team. Support development of enhanced RFP strategy process to deliver more efficient and effective approach to developing and submitting bids.
Evaluate and refresh high-touch experiences to deepen consultant, agent / broker and employer awareness of and engagement with Humana.
Develop and activate enhanced, uniform sales methodology platform - drive adoption and accountability across markets and critical internal partners.

Lead implementation of playbooks across lines of business to provide sales associates with tools to more confidently prospect, sell and retain business
Identify and drive adoption of strategies that continue to display strength of Commercial's business to health of enterprise.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree; Master's Degree preferred
10 or more years of technical experience - a combination of Business-to-Business Sales Operations; Field Sales, High End Major Account Management, Strategic Planning Development and Program Management
8 or more years of people leadership experience - with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
Experience leading large projects and programs from the conceptualization through implementation
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
