What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Technology Strategist position at Humana?
Responsibilities
This role will represent the Marketing Technology portfolio and work closely with marketing and enterprise partners to enable holistic journey-based campaigns that will achieve targeted business outcomes and deliver personalized customer experiences. You will define detailed requirements, recommended solutions, user stories for development and an implementation plan by working across areas required for delivery. Change management is another key aspect of this role and will be necessary enable transformation from stand-alone campaigns to customer-centric, always-on journeys.
Key Responsibilities
Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyze requirements and map them to solutions that leverage Marketing Technology capabilities specially Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Maintain a good understanding of Marketing Technology landscape, especially Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and take advantage of emerging capabilities
Conduct requirements and solution concept workshops
Facilitate business process analysis and automation discussion
Author/solution detailed design and configuration specification
Conduct analysis of systems specifications and use analysis/diagramming tools to represent business/technical process
Demonstrate Salesforce capabilities to solve business problems by implementing Proof of Value pilots and producing the supporting documentation
Collaborate well and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and external vendors to achieve project goals
Participate in the evolution of team best practices, standards and policies
Stay current with the periodic Salesforce releases and leverage the updates as applicable
Be part of a fast paced agile scrum team and participate in planning, documentation, execution, testing, and launch of projects.
Required Qualifications
3 years of experience with Marketing Technology specially Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Proven track record in leading Marketing Technology initiatives with a large cross functional team
Competency in gathering and documenting business requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable collaborating with diverse groups such as; executives, managers, and SME’s
Be able to build and maintain trusting and value added relationships with partners and stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce certification is preferred
Scrum or Agile methodology experience
Health Insurance experience

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:
- At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested
- Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership
- Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
- Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
- Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
