Humana’s distribution organization, MarketPoint, plays a key part in driving Humana’s long-term vision to achieve leading growth in Medicare and individual products. The MarketPoint strategy team was created to help transform Humana’s customer acquisition approach. The team functions with a mandate to think creatively, discover new opportunities and re-envision operations to drive growth and deliver a first-class experience to our members and agents.

As a Strategy Advancement Advisor on the MarketPoint Strategy and Transformation team, you will serve as a thought-partner, collaborator, and change-agent to develop strategy and help drive change across the MarketPoint organization. You will partner closely with senior leadership on a portfolio of projects ranging from new strategies, large transformative initiatives, to tactical experience and operational improvements. The range of activities balances short- and long-term impact: partnering simultaneously on the design, testing, and implementation of core operational changes, while setting and managing roadmap efforts toward multi-year sustainable growth and transformation.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage high-profile, high-impact strategy projects from developing an approach to delivering recommendations and final deliverables
  • Partner with Senior Retail and Enterprise Leadership to develop strategies and tactical plans that drive growth, reimagine experiences, and improve health outcomes
  • Develop high quality analysis and deliverables that clearly frame growth objectives, issues/challenges, and articulate compelling /insightful findings, conclusions, and recommendations
  • Conduct interviews, working sessions, and report-outs with leaders across Humana
  • Oversee industry, market, competitor, and financial analysis
  • Work collaboratively with fellow team members and leaders across Human

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a management field or a similar field with outstanding academic credentials
  • 1 years of full-time, post-graduate degree work experience with a top tier strategy or management consulting firm; or similar strategy experience
  • Demonstrated ability and passion for bringing structure to ambiguity / working in ‘white space’ and independently managing strategy engagements from conception to final deliverables
  • Highly collaborative, flexible, team-oriented working style
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform complex qualitative and quantitative analysis
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to quickly build and maintain trust with senior business leaders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Big plus if you have prior healthcare industry experience, preferably in the managed care or provider sector
  • MBA, MA/MS, PhD, or graduate degree in a management field, with outstanding academic credentials

Additional Information

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:

  • At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested
  • Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership
  • Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
  • Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
  • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$112,400 - $154,900 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
