Our client, a reputable manufacturing company in the Carmel, NY area, is immediately hiring for an experienced Machine Operator. This is an exciting and long-awaited position that will be responsible for learning how to operate a brand new machine for the company. Once learned, you will manage this machine's production going forward and be responsible for maintaining efficiency of the machine. To apply, you will have experience operating and maintaining machinery in a manufacturing setting, be comfortable and interested in learning how to operate a new machine, and have a positive attitude with a willingness to take on additional responsibility.
This is a first shift opportunity with 8:30am to 5pm hours, Monday through Friday. Qualified candidates are urged to apply TODAY for immediate consideration! This position offers between $22-$25/hour.

As the Machine Operator, you will:
- Train additional staff on machine operation
- Assist the production team with additional manufacturing responsibilities as needed to fulfill customer orders
- Follow instructions of customer orders to produce products per order specifications
- Maintain accuracy and timeliness in the production and manufacturing process
- Follow order instructions to prepare, assemble or mix materials appropriately
- Maintain storage area of materials and inventory
- Ensure quality control of materials and production
- Manage inventory of finished products in an organized manor
- Assist with maintenance and clean up of work area as needed
- Learn and manage various machinery/equipmemt in the manufacturing and production process
- Perform mixing and compounding work
- Maintain proper performance of the machine, ensuring proper lubrication, cleanliness, etc
Education: High School Diploma
Experience & Skills:
- Recent experience working as a machine operator within a manufacturing environment
- Positive and coachable attitude with a track record for reliability at work
- Eager and able to learn how to operate new machinery and equipment
- Willing to take on additional responsibility and help out other production teams as needed
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs, while standing and moving around for the duration of the day
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment while meeting deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Good communication skills
