What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiology Supervisor position at HumanHire?
HumanHire is working with one of the largest hospital systems in New York to help find a Radiology Supervisor! The Radiology Supervisor works under the direct supervision of the Radiology Technical Manager and oversees the technical functions and day-to-day activities of the Radiology Department to ensure efficient and effective operations and quality patient care.
We Offer:
- Pay: $115,000 - $130,000/yr (based on experience
- Location: Armonk, NY
- Schedule: Monday - Friday (9 am – 5 pm)
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Radiology Department, ensuring efficient and safe patient care.
- Coordinate staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all modalities across all shifts.
- Implement and enforce institutional policies, procedures, and quality initiatives to maintain regulatory compliance.
- Conduct routine productivity audits and provide feedback to ensure accuracy and technical quality in imaging procedures.
- Maintain equipment needs, record keeping, and accreditation requirements for radiologic services.
- Foster a positive and professional work environment, providing mentoring and coaching to direct reports while addressing patient concerns and complaints.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited radiography school or hospital base program, NYS DOH license, ARRT(R), and previous lead or supervisory experience required.
- ARRT Certification preferred, CT, Mammography, MRI, ARDMS or NMTCB
- BLS certification required
