What U Can Expect To Do:
- Be a role model to all partners on our team by displaying our Humanist Values in all aspects of operations through internal and external service
- Have a critical eye toward all products, services, and operational culture is in line with company standards
- Provide personalized service to every individual you encounter
- Initiate new sales, prospects and qualified leads
- Perform administrative and general tasks including typing, answering phones, and maintaining file systems to ensure accurate records of our sales contacts and revenues
- Receive, handle, and convert meetings, events, and group inquiries
- Plan events in conjunction with the client
- Present and sell available and suitable banquet/event options to the highest possible standard
- Arrange and carry out hotel site tours
- Negotiate space, dates and rates to obtain booking goal while focusing on shoulder and off-season business
- Assist in development and solicitation of rooms and banquet event package plans and aimed at conference business and encourage repeat business
- Attend trade and travel shows of various market area for promoting hotels event business
- Actively manage business bookings, record denials, make network referrals
- Meet or exceed all established sales goals for your location
- Bring your innovative approach to generate new revenue sources
- Analyze lost business and create strategies to help prevent this in the future
- Have a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests
- Keep confidential the business functions of the company including, but not limited to, financial status, customer/guest information, employee issues, etc.
- Perform any other duties as requested by leadership to aid in better operation of the property and service to the guests
