We're looking for an energetic and motivated Medical Scribe/Assistant to join our medical practice. The ideal candidate will have an interest in learning about rheumatology, various autoimmune diseases, and will look forward to interacting directly with patients to provide patient care services. A successful candidate will be detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and approach their work with a positive attitude.

Full-time Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers with medical documentation and record-keeping
- Accurately type and transcribe medical information during patient encounters
- Maintain organized and up-to-date medical records
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care and workflow

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Medical Scribe is preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and medical office systems
- Knowledge of rheumatology is a plus

Skills:
- Excellent typing and data entry skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills to interact with healthcare professionals and patients
-Comply with the American Medical Association's Code of Ethics.
-Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.
-Manage patient information, scheduling, and insurance claims.
-Knowledge of third party payer requirements.

As a Medical Scribe, you will play a vital role in supporting healthcare providers by accurately documenting patient encounters. Your expertise in medical terminology, record-keeping, and attention to detail will contribute to the overall efficiency of the medical practice. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
