We are currently seeking a PCB Designer for our company’s headquarters in Bridgeton, Missouri. The candidate should be experienced, self-motivated, and a team- oriented PCB Designer interested in creating products for the world leader in alignment, wheel and tire service, inspection and ADAS calibration equipment. Hunter designs circuit boards in St. Louis and builds them in Mississippi using state of the art equipment. Hunter produces over one million boards and cable assemblies every year.
Responsibilities
- Candidates for this position would be responsible for the entire PCB design process
- Work with electrical and mechanical engineers for parts placement and routing that satisfies design requirements and adheres to IPC and company standards
- Work with Cadence physical and electrical design constraints
- Interface with manufacturing engineers to optimize manufacturability and reliability
- Create full documentation packages including assembly drawings, bills of materials, board panelization drawings
- Manage engineering change orders and other documentation changes related to PCB designs
Qualifications
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in high speed, impedance controlled high density PCB layout
- Associates or Bachelors degree preferred; will consider equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficient using Cadence Allegro v17.x
- Good understanding of DFM and DFT requirements and methodologies
- Work independently as well as in a team environment
- Exhibit excellent problem- solving skills
- Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet schedules; prioritization is a key element
- IPC CID certification preferred
- Experience using Design Entry HDL, Constraint Manager, and Part Developer is preferred
- AutoCad LT and GerbTool experience a plus
