Position Summary
The MNCC Registered Nurse (RN) provides quality nursing care through the application of the nursing process using evidence based practice focusing on excellent outcomes and patient experience within the framework of Shared Governance.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
Required:
All hires are required to have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Associate's Degree in Nursing with at least 2 years of MNCC RN experience.
Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation):
Required:
One year acute care experience.
Preferred:
At least one year of labor or level 2 nursery experience.
License, Registry or Certification:
Required:
Current NJ RN licensure and American Heart Association BLS Certification. NRP certification is required within 6 months of hire or by completion of orientation. All staff that care for patients in the PACU must complete ACLS within 1 year of hire.
Preferred:
Certification in specialty.
Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:
Required:
AWHONN Fetal Monitoring is required by completion of orientation to Labor and Delivery or within 1 year of hire for experienced Labor nurses. Completion of the STABLE Course is required within 1 year of hire for all RN staff.
Location: Hunterdon Healthcare System · Maternal Newborn Care Center - MNCC
Schedule: Part-time, Evening/Nights, Sun through Sat; 7am to 7:30pm; Weekend rotation required.
Salary : $74,700 - $94,600
