What are the responsibilities and job description for the Surgical Programs Coordinator position at Hunterdon Health?
Position Summary:
Assumes responsibility for the smooth operation of our Bariatric Program and other subspecialties as appropriate
Primary Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for program development and support for surgical practices
Facilitation and coordination of patient care
Data collection and analysis
Fiscal accountability
Attends and conducts meetings
Quality Improvement including center of excellence designation.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum Years of Experience
Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with Healthcare operational experience. Good communication and multi-tasking skills.
Preferred: Experience of 3-5 years in healthcare management which includes nancial reporting and budget preparation and monitoring.
License, Registry or Certication:
Required: Registered Nurse
Preferred: None
Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:
Required: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong customer focus, experience with coordination of patient care across the continuum, excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task
Preferred: Knowledge of medical information systems and applications
Location: Hunterdon Healthcare System · Advanced Weight Loss Center
Schedule: Full-time, Days/Evenings, M-F occasional evening
Salary : $51,700 - $65,500
