What are the responsibilities and job description for the Visitor Control Officer - Safety & Security (FT) position at Huntsville Hospital Health System?
Education/Certification:
High School diploma or GED required. Some college preferred. Must have the following within initial:
- CPR certification
- Management Of Aggressive Behavior
- IAHSS Basic certification (Within 90 days of employment )
Customer service experience required and experience in a healthcare environment preferred. Must possess a driver's license and be insurable by HH standards.
Additional Skills/Abilities:
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly. Excellent customer service and communication skills needed with the ability to enforce policies in an assertive, yet courteous manner. Must possess some computer skills with ability to use word processing and spreadsheet applications.
