As a member of our management team you will have the opportunity to perform a variety of duties to include planning, scheduling, hiring, dismissal and training. Additionally as a member of the management team you will ensure safety, sanitation, patient satisfaction and good public relations with our customers. Help to develop and implement new programs to improve patient food service and retail sales.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or GED required. Degree in related field from an accredited college or university is strongly preferred. Experience in lieu of degree could be considered.
Experience:
Foodservice management experience preferred. Experience in an acute care environment preferred. Sales experience is a plus.
Additional Skills/Abilities:
Strong leadership skills required. Excellent customer relations and computer skills a must. Must have excellent organizational skills. Ability to communicate (both verbal and written) effectively with customers and support staff. Requires management and leadership skills in addition to good planning and organization skills. Position requires the ability to work with confidential employee and client information. Must complete the following Huntsville Hospital classes through Corporate University within six months: Just Culture, Top Employment Traps for Managers, Seven Habits of Highly Effective People in Healthcare, Workplace Professionalism, Selecting the Right Employees, Personal Style Indicator.
