Hussey Copper has an opening for a Management Trainee at its Leetsdale, PA location. The Management Trainee is responsible for learning and understanding the principles of lean manufacturing and industrial operations. This includes developing an understanding of the tools and techniques used to improve operational efficiency, reduce waste. The trainee will also be responsible for Employee tracking such as Hours, Performance, and Safety.
Responsibilities:
- Learn and understand the principles of lean manufacturing and industrial operations.
- Develop an understanding of the tools and techniques used to improve operational efficiency, reduce waste.
- Work with management to identify areas of improvement in the organization’s processes and procedures.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss process improvement initiatives, assist in developing metrics to measure performance.
- Maintain employee records, including hours, performance, safety trainings, accident reports, injury reports, etc.
- Monitor employee's utilization of safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
