Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Part-Time Recruiter. As a Recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and selecting top talent to meet the organization's staffing needs. This part-time position offers flexible hours and requires strong communication skills, a keen eye for talent, and a passion for finding the right fit.

Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition: Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and direct sourcing.

  • Candidate Screening: Review resumes, assess candidate qualifications, and conduct initial phone screens to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit. Coordinate and conduct in-person or virtual interviews with shortlisted candidates.

  • Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate interviews, ensuring a positive candidate experience. Liaise with candidates and hiring managers to ensure timely communication and a smooth interview process.

  • Candidate Evaluation and Selection: Assess candidate competencies, qualifications, and alignment with job requirements. Provide recommendations to hiring managers based on interview feedback and candidate assessments. Conduct reference checks as necessary.

  • Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Management: Utilize an ATS to manage candidate data, maintain accurate records, and track candidate progress throughout the recruitment process. Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.

  • Employer Branding: Contribute to employer branding efforts by ensuring a positive candidate experience and promoting the organization's values and culture. Maintain relationships with candidates and create talent pipelines for future hiring needs.

  • Recruitment Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve recruitment processes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and candidate experience. Provide insights and recommendations to optimize recruitment strategies and practices.

  • Compliance and Documentation: Stay informed about employment laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance throughout the recruitment process. Maintain proper documentation of recruitment activities, including candidate records, interview notes, and related documents.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field. Relevant certifications or equivalent experience in recruiting is a plus.

  • Proven experience as a recruiter or in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, including sourcing strategies, candidate assessment, and interview techniques.

  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software/tools.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.

  • Attention to detail and ability to assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit.

  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to recruitment and selection.

  • Proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and requirements.

  • Confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive and confidential information.
