Service Technician Requirements:
- At least 1 year of customer service experience
- At least 3 years of technician experience
Are you a student?
We will pay for tools and technician school training! There are John Deere-specific technician programs available to attend, as well as general diesel technician programs. While going to school, you can work as a technician apprentice in our service shops. Once you graduate, Hutson will reimburse up to 100% of tuition based on your cumulative GPA. Reimbursement is paid out over a two-year period.
Student Service Technician Shift hours:
- 8am - 5pm, Monday through Friday
- During planting and harvesting, we start at 7am
- On-call opportunities as your technician experience increases
