HX5 is currently seeking an Senior Engineer to support the Direct Attack Advanced Programs office at Eglin AFB, Florida.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct engineering performance, effectiveness, life cycle cost, producibility, reliability and maintainability, risk, and scheduling trade-off studies.
- Perform validation of systems, including development of criteria and procedures.
- Conduct engineering reviews, studies, audits, and technical analysis.
- Support associated armament program engineering IPTs.
- Conduct and evaluate time and engineering cost estimates in support of research, development, test, training, and acquisition of armament related systems.
- Provide engineering support services and inputs to program and project risk management activities in compliance with AF SEAM processes.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering disciple from ABET accredited college and eighteen (18) years of professional experience
Preferences
- Experience working in the specialty task areas of systems, developmental engineering, flight systems, software, or test.
Must be a US Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
