Hyatt Place Portland Old Port is looking for a top-performing Hotel Executive Housekeeper,

Salary range from $60,000 - $70,000

Hyatt Place Portland Old Port is a highly-regarded property in our area looking for a motivated, organized Hotel Executive Housekeeper to join our team. As the Hotel Executive Housekeeper, you will lead the housekeeping team, ensure the hotel housekeeping team members comply with high cleanliness and sanitation protocol standards, and oversee the housekeeping department budget. Experience in a supervisory role overseeing housekeeping staff or a similar role is required. We highly encourage you to apply if you have excellent communication skills and leadership experience.

Some Key Areas of Responsibility for the Hotel Executive Housekeeper include:

• Clean and arrange hotel rooms following our hotel’s standards before guest arrival
• Maintain common spaces, including the hotel lobby, corridors, and public restrooms
• Vacuum, mop, make beds, dust and polish furniture, stock rooms with toiletries, and do laundry as needed
• Write down what rooms were cleaned, report lost and found items, and any damage or repairs needed
• Answer general questions from guests

Requirements for the Hotel Executive Housekeeper include:

• High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
• At least one year of experience as a professional housekeeper preferred
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and products
• Impeccable work ethic and excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills

Applicants must be able to work weekends & holidays
