The Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City is looking for a Group Sales Manager to join the pre-opening team at Salt Lake City’s newest 700 room convention hotel.

The Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City is looking for a group focused Sales Manager to join the pre-opening sales team at Salt Lake City’s newest 700 room convention hotel.
Sales Management responsibilities include selling guest rooms, meeting space and other Hyatt services to group customers, while managing high profile accounts, conducting memorable and thoughtful site inspections, and pro-actively generating business opportunities. Duties also include preparing and presenting effective proposals, customer facing presentations, and coordinating high touch customer service opportunities as appropriate. The Sales Manager will also participate and may lead sales and staff meetings. The Sales Manager also works as a team member with the sales and catering staff to in close contact with assigned Administrative Assistant and other support staff.

Qualifications
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- A minimum of 1-3 years of hotel sales or comparable experience preferred
- Must be proficient in general computer knowledge
- Prefer completion of a Hyatt Corporate Management Training Program or equivalent
