Talent Acquisition Specialist
Location: Omaha, NE

Job Summary:
As a member of the Talent Team, you will be responsible for managing a full cycle recruiting desk for various locations across the United States. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will demonstrate subject matter expertise when it comes to selecting talent, collaborating and providing support to our hiring managers.
Strong ability to build rapport with candidates through virtual means and comfort making decisions at times with limited information. Establishing a strong presence within the HR department to collaborate on best practices that align with strategic hiring initiatives for executing the company’s human resources goals.
Schedule: 8:00am – 5:00pm (Monday – Friday)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent in a multi-state organization.
- Partner with managers to develop plans for key staffing initiatives.
- Source and attract candidates utilizing various industry methods / apply best practices.
- Proactively seek new avenues to attract candidates and share those ideas with others on the team.
- Develop and maintain career opportunities on company website, as well as targeted job boards and social media. Attend job fairs and careers events.
- Conduct candidate phone screens and interviews to filter talent for open positions.
- Serve as a point of contact with hiring managers and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
- Maintain effective working relationships with hiring managers in multiple states.
- Partner with managers on talent strategy and guidance of the company’s hiring and interviewing processes.
- Proactively seek new avenues to attract candidates and share those ideas with others on the team.
- Provide general HR support to employees, managers and HR team as initiatives and projects arise.
- Support change management related to talent, retention and the implementation of organizational solutions.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of the business through exposure to departmental activities, manager meetings and industry readings.
- Track and report key metrics designed to measure and predict staffing requirements.
- See candidates through the entire hiring process including onboarding, follow up and post hire.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field
- 2-3 years of solid recruiting and sourcing experience
- Multi-State recruiting experience required
- Must have strong problem-solving skills and a desire to create solutions
- Ability to uphold regulatory and company standards
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from internal or external customers
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to establish and maintain rapport and effective communication with diverse levels within the company and external organizations
- Prior experience working under tight deadlines with changing priorities
- Must have the ability to work in sensitive and confidential situations
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions with ability to deal with abstract and concrete variables
- Above average knowledge of MS Office
- ADP Workforce Now or other Recruitment / ATS preferred
